My evap coil froze a few weeks ago. I had originally had a competitor come out to diagnose the problem and was told I had a leak in the coil and explained exactly where it was at, however the proce quote that the company told me repair the issue was outrageous. So I started to look for another company. Contacted Duncan and spoke with Tim a manager there and we talked about costs of replacing the coil and he said they were going to send someone out just to make sure before we start committing to a fix that might not do it. Technician Justin came out and tried his hardest to find where the other companies guy said I had a leak. No leak in the coil that Justin could find. He went to the outside unit and found the leak and it was in a repairable spot no replacement needed. So with the extra time spent by Justin to actually find the issue I was able to fix the issue at less than half the price of my original quote from the competitor and that wouldnt have even fixed it.
