Called to set up an appointment because we had no heat. Was told to expect the technician between 8am and 12pm. At 8:15sm Nick called to let me know he was on the way and just to make sure I was home. Nick arrived less than 20 minutes later. He introduced himself and in a professional manner began asking questions about what was happening so he could better evaluate what needed to be done or checked. After I explained what was happening he suggested a few things that could be the issue. He explained what and why he was going to be doing these things. I took him to out unit outside under my house and left him there to do his work. I’m pretty sure within 30 minutes Nick had out heat going. He came to me to explain what he had done and what he had found. Simple fix but he went the extra mile to check the system. Reasonable $$. I’m glad I found Duncan because I can tell you after reading reviews of other supposedly reliable or reputable businesses I was worried I wouldn’t find a well rounded business with reliable service technicians who explain what could be causing the issues before just jumping into ( oh this is a major job ) or ( you’re going to need a whole new unit ). Duncan is hands down my go to for any heating and a/c job I might have in the future. Oh and the receptionist who answered the phone when I called I’m not sure if her name was Ashley, Amanda or something else but very helpful and very polite. Thank you ma’am.

My evap coil froze a few weeks ago. I had originally had a competitor come out to diagnose the problem and was told I had a leak in the coil and explained exactly where it was at, however the proce quote that the company told me repair the issue was outrageous. So I started to look for another company. Contacted Duncan and spoke with Tim a manager there and we talked about costs of replacing the coil and he said they were going to send someone out just to make sure before we start committing to a fix that might not do it. Technician Justin came out and tried his hardest to find where the other companies guy said I had a leak. No leak in the coil that Justin could find. He went to the outside unit and found the leak and it was in a repairable spot no replacement needed. So with the extra time spent by Justin to actually find the issue I was able to fix the issue at less than half the price of my original quote from the competitor and that wouldnt have even fixed it. I would like to share my experience with maintenance technician, Landon Miller, with Duncan Heat and Air. Landon arrived promptly after sending me a message… Five minutes! He went straight to work, trying to figure out why the condenser line on my heat pump wasn’t working. After diagnosis, he gave me an estimated price for cleaning and repairing the unit. He worked for over an hour, checking every component. Finally, he ran the unit with the diagnostic tools attached for half an hour or so to make sure all parts were functioning correctly. The condenser line flowed steadily, and the air inside cooled dramatically! PROBLEM SOLVED! From the phone call requesting help to completion was 48 hours. Professional, efficient, transparent, and just plain nice.… Can’t say enough about the services of Duncan he and Technician Landon Miller.
